As a small business owner who’s constantly developing and implementing social media strategies for my clients, I’m almost embarrassed to admit how long I held out on Facebook groups.

Let me just put it this way: WAYYYY too long…

For those of you who have been in Facebook groups and found no value in them – You were in the wrong groups. For those of you who aren’t in any – You’re missing out.

To help all you lady entrepreneurs, below are my picks for the Top 10 Facebook Groups for Female Entrepreneurs.

Late Additions… But Certainly Not Last!

#1 – Positive Productivity
Positive Productivity

I apologize for the shameless plug for my own group before all others. In my Facebook mastermind group we focus on concentrating on the positive in our lives and businesses, and use that energy to drive more success. The group is new (founded at the end of October 2015), however I am committed to helping members achieve the success they are looking for.

#2 – Freedom Hacker’s Mastermind

Freedom Hacker's Mastermind

This lively group is full of great advice, people, and complete honesty. Host, Kimra Luna, tells it how it is, which business owners often restrain from doing at the risk of offending others. Rather than offend, Kimra’s truths provide insight and encouragement.

#3 – Babes in Biz

Babes in Business

Babes in Biz is hosted by Cassie Howard, a business coach for women who want to hit 6-figure incomes FAST. I love how supportive the environment is, and that Cassie does not tolerate negativity or being an asshole. (Yes, this is in the group rules.)

#4 – #60SecondOrgasm

60 Second Orgasm

You’re probably a bit shocked to see this in my article. Trust me, when I saw the group show up on my Facebook sidebar as a “Recommended Group” I was equally shocked — but I HAD to click! This group is NOT for people who don’t tolerate cussing (hey, I’m Christian but I cuss a bit), but host Molly Sapp’s videos alone make the group worth joining. She tells you what you need to hear, exactly as you need to hear it. Even my husband was nodding along as I was listening to a recent video.

#5 – Female Entrepreneurs Collaborate

Female Entrepreneurs Collaborate

I think one of the things I love most about Stephanie’s group is her daily themes with classic branding. She definitely knows how to keep group members engaged, and if you’re looking for looking for a lesson or two about how to run your own group, this is a great one to look at!

#6 – The Ladypreneur Community

Ladypreneur Community

From the moment I joined the group, host Jessica Rea was EXTREMELY inviting and encouraging. With daily themes, frequent posts by Jessica and group members and a NO-SPAM policy, this group has a great environment for those looking to connect and build rapport with other female business owners.

#7 – Purpose Driven Working Women

Purpose Driven Working Women

I jump at the chance to be associated with a group of business people who are not afraid to profess their Faith. Purpose Driven Working Women, hosted by Snowe Saxman, is a “community of working women who strive to live their lives with God first, their families second & their careers third.”

#8 – Gem Nation

Gem Nation

One of the quieter groups in this list (but only because the group is still smaller), I LOVE how supportive and encouraging host Allyn Lewis is! The value of the content in this small group is also amazing, with absolutely no posts that feel at all SPAMMY.

#9 – Savvy Business Owners

Savvy Business Owners

If you’re looking for a friendly group that is SPAM free, has theme days and is run by a team, then this is a great group for you! Hosted by Heather Crabtree and a number of admin, group rules clearly express the intention for this to be a positive environment, but remind the members to do due diligence before hiring group members to perform tasks – which is an important lesson for us all to remember!

#10 – The Happy Entrepreneur

The Happy Entrepreneur

The Happy Entrepreneur is a bit more active and promotional than a few of the other groups due to the lack of a no-promo policy, however the energy that host Maru Iabichela puts into the group is amazing. Even with the more frequent promotions, the vibe, emotion and intelligence of the group members is clearly evident.
