Hello, my friend!

I know I may not know your name, but I do truly hope that will change with time.

I suppose you would like to know who I am, yea? I’m Kim Sutton, host of the Positive Productivity podcast and a marketing and business automation expert. I’m also a wife and mom of five. (Yes, this IS relevant)

In 2016, following a multiple year cycle of chasing everyone elses success and a severe case of not-enoughness, I had a sleep-deprived breakdown. I couldn’t figure out why my business was “failing” when all the other businesses I saw on the internet were soaring sky-high.

I was ready to give up on life because I felt like a failure. Thankfully, a spiritual experience turned everything around.

Almost overnight, I realized that a lot of what I/we see on the internet is half-truth, and I needed to live entirely in my truth if I was to survive and thrive.

For years I watched as clients struggled to build successful sales funnels.

Launches would come and go, and clients acquired more frustration and disappointment than they did revenue.

Sitting on the sidelines as the tech guru, I scratched my head and wondered what was going on. Why were these “industry experts” with huge lists failing to achieve minimal sales goals?

Then I noticed something interesting…

Their average email open rate was at least 10 points lower than my own.

Whereas I was seeing an open rate of 25-40%, I had clients who found it hard to break 10%.

I dug deeper and found the same problem with each client…

The majority of their emails and social media posts were sales oriented. If 200 emails went out a year, only 1-2 had the sole intention of connecting with their community and improving their know, like and trust factor.

Pssst…. Sharing how you work only three days a week and make over a million a year may impress some, but it does little to connect on a personal level. Instead, it flares up instances of comparison syndrome and not-enoughness.

Note: I’m writing this copy on a Sunday night and have spent the day building this page. I do NOT work a three day week and I don’t know if I could if I tried. I love what I do too much.

I’ve always used myself as a guinea pig, so, to this day, I have continued to send out 5x’s more content based emails and posts than I do promotional. And my results have stayed the same.

My open rates are considerably higher, as is my percentage of responses and engagement.

PHASE ONE: CLARITY

Clarity is key if your Feel Good Funnel is going to succeed.

1. CLARITY ABOUT WHAT YOU DO.

Too many entrepreneurs have no idea about what it is that they provide to their clients and the value their service/product provides.

When you lack this clarity, it’s easy to build a funnel that has absolutely no alignment with your business, mission or values.

I know because I was one of these entrepreneurs for years.

I had no less than a dozen funnels, each of which had no income generation potential because they were not aligned with me or my product offerings.

In the end, these funnels cost me hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars in lost income.

2. CLARITY ON WHO YOUR IDEAL CLIENT IS.

In order to speak with and to your ideal client, you need to know who they are and the pain they are experiencing.

Once you become clear about this, it becomes much easier to segment them and communicate regarding their specific needs and pain points.

Feel Good Funnels stresses personalized (yet automated) communication, and it much easier to make the lead feel heard and understood when you know who you are talking to. 

PHASE TWO: CREATION

The only person who expects perfection is YOU.

You don’t need expensive tools or contractors to build your funnel. In reality, you can create ALL the elements using Canva (available for FREE!), Zoom (also available for free), your website (nominal hosting and domain registration fees) and Mailchimp ($15/month).

You can always upgrade your system and your support team as you go (and grow), but the most important action you can take right now is to create your content, build your funnel and get busy sharing your expertise and knowledge with the world!

PHASE THREE: CONTENT

My friend, building your Feel Good Funnel is NOT like Field of Dreams.

Just because you build your funnel does NOT guarantee traffic to it and/or opt-ins.

After your funnel is built, it’s your responsibility — to YOU and those you intend to serve — to create content.

Whether you create blog posts or videos, podcast episodes or non-salesy social media posts,  you need to commit to a content creation schedule.

Note: Don’t over-commit yourself! Begin with one piece of awesome content a week and work your way up to more as time allows. 

The more you get out there with fresh, value driven-content, the more opportunities you will have to drive qualified leads to your landing page and opt-in. And the more people who opt-in, the more qualified people you have to possibly purchase your paid products!

PHASE FOUR: COMMUNITY

You know what happens when you become clear, construct your funnel and create content to drive people to it?

A community begins to form.

Your fans begin showing up, and your superfans (thanks, Pat Flynn!) go out of their way to share your products and services with their communities.

Wouldn’t you love to have a community waiting with baited breath for your next article, podcast episode and/or course to drop?

I know I would!

Remember: Like creates like. The more people who talk about your content, the more (new) people you will attract to talk about your content.

Devote yourself to providing value to your community — free AND paid — and your community will devote themselves to you.

IS FEEL GOOD FUNNELS RIGHT FOR ME?

My friend, I don’t know if Feel Good Funnels is right for you. I DO know that I’m damn good at what I do, and that clients who commit to doing the work see results.

The work, however, is the hard part.

Mary Poppins is not an included bonus in this program (if she were, I would be stealing her services for myself) so you won’t be able to snap your fingers and have all the pieces magically create themselves and put themselves together.

I’ve had clients who set their plan of action, followed their plan, and had their funnel fully constructed and growing their community within 8 weeks.

I’ve also had clients, however, who set their plan, deviated from their plan 20 times, and, to this day, still don’t have a funnel.

YOU are the expert. Whether you sign up for the Do-It-Yourself, the Done-With-You or the Done-With-You, there will be work to do because the knowledge lies within you.

I also know that when you’re committed to your work, I’m committed to you.

1. The response you want to hear: You have a message to share and lives to impact. Your funnel will help you impact lives and improve your bank account.

Frequently Asked Questions

I know what I do, but how will I figure out what my people want?

I had this question once, and when I heard the answer, I smacked my forehead and said, “Duh, Kim!” With that said, there really is no such thing as a dumb question.

The answer?

You ask them.

And, as you’re working through Feel Good Funnels I guide you through what questions to ask and how to ask them in order to get the answers you are looking for.

I'm just getting started. Do I really need a funnel?

Yea, you do.

You may have a million followers on social media, but your email list is where the money is.

Why?

Because unless you do something really stupid (ie buy email lists and email people without thier permission), you won’t lose your email marketing account.

Social media, however, can be riske. I hear about social accounts getting shut down at least once a week because somebody got offended.

While I wouldn’t recommend testing this theory, I would wager that the people on your list will be more tolerant of your and your quirks than the people on social media platforms.

You don't have a refund policy on this page. Is there one?

There is no refund policy listed because there are no refunds.

From the moment you log-in (and acknowledge that there will be no refunds), you will be benefitting from my time and expertise.

Whether you commit to the program and build your funnel or not, there are hours and hours of content you will benefit from.

I will not reward laziness, procrastination or excuses. It is your responsibility to do the work. If you don’t do the work, you can’t expect the program to work for you. 

Pssst. I have five kids and a disabled husband, and I still built this page — including writing all the content — in a day.

How much time should I expect to invest on a weekly basis?

DO IT YOURSELF & DONE WITH YOU

A good estimate would be 5-10 hours, however some weeks may be more, some less.

This page, for example, took me 10 hours and I am experienced with the process.

DONE FOR YOU

Unless you are creating video and/or audio content, you should plan on investing 90 minutes a week for meetings/correspondance with Kim.

I'm interested in the Done For You program. How fast will my funnel be built?

This depends on you and how much content you already have created.

For example, if a course will be your main offer but you haven’t yet recorded the modules or accompanying assets, this could impact the time frame.

If all assets are created, if even in rough form, your funnel could be ready to rock and roll within 6 weeks.

The investment seems high, even for the Do It Yourself. Why so high?

To be honest, the programs — all of them — are ridiculously underpriced, and my coach will probably puke when she sees what I went with.

I have worked with several clients who hired outside contractors to support them as they built their funnels.

One spent $10,000 and needed to travel out of the country as part of the process. She created all her assets, had minimal support, and at the end of a three-day workshop her funnel was not complete.

Another spent over $10,000 for an agency to create her funnel and in return received nothing she could use in her business.

If you don’t sign up for Feel Good Funnels, please do your due diligence and speak to previous clients before investing.
