The end of 2017 wrapped up with me reading a lot of books including High Performance Habits by Brendon Burchard and Worthy by Nancy Levin.

In today’s episode, I’m going to be talking about something that I read about in Worthy, I think it was anyway, hey, this is the Positive Productivity podcasts where things aren’t always perfect.

But one of the items that I read was about looking around in our environment, and thinking about whether how we’re living how we’re working is what our ideal future looks like. As I began to think about it, I was looking around my house in my office and I realized there is so much clutter.

Clearing Physical Clutter to Prevent Emotional Clutter

Every time I would go to a new room or go down to the basement to do laundry or go anywhere I started picking up garbage bags, empty garbage bags, and filling them with the random stuff. That’s to put it nicely. The random stuff that we just don’t need around here. Or at any other time, I want you to think about your productivity levels, and how much clutter is around you right now. What is your desk look like? What does your office look like, is your house in order. If it’s not, I want to encourage you to take out the garbage bags, and start renting trashcan space from your neighbors if you need to, just so that you can get the extra clutter out of your life. The reason I say renting trashcan space from your neighbors is because even in the early part of this week, I have already overflowed our trash bin. And I’m going to have to ask neighbors if I can stick some of our extra garbage bags into theirs, just so I can keep up with this decluttering process. I know that the best way for me to move forward with my life and my business this year is to get rid of this clutter and I want you to join In this journey with me, if you’re in, head on over to the show notes page at Doug KIM SUTTON comm forward slash p p two to seven and leave a comment below that says I’m in.
