QUICK NOTES – HOW TO LEAVE AN ABUSIVE MARRIAGE:

In 2010, I left a marraige of eight years to a man I had been with for 13. I been unhappy for some time, but by the time I left, it had become unsafe for my children (my boys were 5 and 8 at the time) as well.

I was unemployed with little money to my name, but I knew I couldn’t allow my boys to be raised in an environment where the behavior and actions they were witnessing was acceptable.

It wasn’t.

In this session of Next Level Mondays, I share the mistakes we both made in this marriage, what the final tipping point was that made me decide to leave, and how it was possible.

I also share why it’s important that you choose physical and emotional health over financial wealth.

Note: I realized after doing this video that I had food in my teeth.
