Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 3, 2026
Your privacy matters to me. This policy explains what information I collect through thekimsutton.com, how I use it, and the choices you have, whether you’re here for L.I.V.E. B.E.T.T.E.R. or working with me through For Business.
A Few Things I Want You to Know Up Front
- I only ask for the personal information I actually need.
- I do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
- I only share your information when it’s necessary to run this site, deliver what you signed up for, or comply with the law.
Who This Policy Covers
thekimsutton.com is owned and operated by me, Kim Sutton. The site holds two equal parts of one calling: L.I.V.E. B.E.T.T.E.R., a Scripture-anchored resource for women rebuilding after toxic and abusive relationships, and For Business, marketing automation consulting for faith-based business owners. This policy applies to both, and to every page on this site.
Information I Collect
Information you give me. This includes your name, email address, and any other details you share when you download any of my free resources, purchase a product or offering, join my email list, submit a contact or consulting inquiry form, book a discovery call, leave a blog comment, or reach out to me directly.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site automatically receives standard technical information from your browser, things like browser type, device type, referring site, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. I use this in aggregate to understand how people use the site. It is not tied to your name unless you’ve also given me that separately.
Cookies
A cookie is a small piece of information your browser stores and sends back to a website on later visits. This site uses cookies to remember your preferences, keep the site functioning properly, and understand how visitors use it. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, though some features of the site may not work as well without them.
How I Use Your Information
- To deliver what you asked for, whether they be a workbook, devotional, resource, or consulting materials
- To respond to your questions, comments, or inquiries
- To send you emails you’ve opted into, about new content, resources, or offerings
- To understand and improve this site
- To protect this site and its visitors against fraud, abuse, or spam
I do not use your information for anything beyond this, and I do not sell it.
If You’re Sharing Your Story
L.I.V.E. B.E.T.T.E.R. exists because I’ve walked through what many of you are walking through now. If you share your story with me – through a form, an email, a comment, or a coaching conversation – I hold it with care. I will never publish your name, your story, or any identifying details publicly without your clear, specific permission first.
The Tools That Run This Site
I use a small number of trusted third-party services to run thekimsutton.com and stay in touch with you:
- Systeme.io – powers my email list, opt-in forms, and some checkout and course functionality
- SpamKill – screens form submissions for spam and bots before they ever reach me
- Google Analytics – helps me understand site traffic and how visitors use this site
- WordPress – the platform this site is built on
Each of these tools has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data on its own servers. I choose tools that align with how I want to care for your information, and I review that regularly.
How I Protect Your Information
I take reasonable, good-faith steps to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is ever 100% secure, so I can’t promise perfection, but protecting your trust is something I take seriously.
Sharing and Disclosure
I do not rent or sell your personal information. I only disclose it when required by law, subpoena, or court order; when necessary to protect my rights, property, or safety, or the safety of others; or to the service providers listed above, who need it to do their jobs and have agreed to keep it confidential.
Blog Comments
If you leave a comment on a blog post, your name and comment are visible publicly, and your email address and IP address are stored to help prevent spam. They are not shared beyond that purpose.
Children’s Privacy
This site is not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
If This Business Is Ever Sold or Transferred
In the unlikely event that this business is sold or its assets transferred, your information would be one of the assets transferred. It would remain subject to the terms of this policy, or an updated version you’d be notified of.
Your Choices
- Every email I send includes an unsubscribe link
- You can set your browser to refuse cookies
- You can contact me any time to ask what information I have about you, request a correction, or ask me to delete it
Changes to This Policy
I may update this policy from time to time as this site and business grow. I’ll post any changes here, and your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
