One Morning at a Time, God Can Rebuild What Was Broken, Including You
Rise & Rebuild: 365 Days of Clarity, Confidence, and Faith-Led Purpose A daily devotional for Christian women rebuilding their life, confidence, and work after a toxic or abusive relationship.
When I finally got to the other side of the hardest season of my life, I thought I would feel free. And in some ways, I did.
But I also felt something I didn’t expect: lost. I didn’t know who I was anymore. I didn’t know what I was capable of. I had spent so long surviving that I had forgotten how to simply be, let alone build anything new.
I needed something to sit with me each morning. Not a course or a program, and not someone telling me to hustle or push through. I needed someone to remind me that God hadn’t finished with me yet, and that this new season wasn’t a consolation prize. It was the whole point.
That’s what I created this devotional to be, because clarity rarely comes all at once. Many women discover that clarity and confidence begin returning through small, consistent mornings with God.
That’s why I created:
Rise & Rebuild: 365 Days of Clarity, Confidence, and Faith-Led Purpose
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
Isaiah 43:19
This devotional was designed specifically for women who have done some healing, and are ready to look forward, but need a daily anchor as they rebuild.
It’s not overwhelming and it’s not complicated. It’s a few quiet minutes each morning to remind you who God says you are, and what He has called you to build.

A Daily Companion for
Your Season of Rebuilding
Rise & Rebuild: 365 Days of Clarity, Confidence, and Faith-Led Purpose is a simple devotional created for Christian women who are ready to rebuild, but need a steady, faithful rhythm.
Each day, in just 5–10 quiet minutes, you’ll meet God in His Word. Not with pressure or performance expectations. Just you, his presence, and one small reminder that this season is not an ending; it’s a beginning.
The goal is not to rush you. Instead, the devotional builds a daily rhythm of clarity, encouragement, and forward-facing faith.
The devotional was designed so that in just 5-10 minutes a day, you can feel more grounded, more capable, and more certain that God is genuinely working in your next season.
If You’re Ready to Move Forward, But Aren’t Sure How…
If you still hear his voice in your head some days, the one that said you weren’t smart enough, capable enough, worth enough to build anything of your own…
If you feel the pull toward something new but immediately second-guess yourself, and your confidence keeps hitting a wall you can’t quite name…
If people around you are telling you to “just move on” while you’re still carrying wounds they can’t see…
If you sense God calling you toward something in this next season, but you don’t quite feel ready, worthy, or sure enough to step toward it…
Please know this: You are not behind. And you are not broken.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11
Rebuilding after a toxic or abusive relationship takes time.
It happens slowly, gently, and often in quiet mornings with God, when His voice finally gets louder than the ones that tried to silence you.
This devotional was created to walk alongside you in that season.

A Peek Inside — Day 1
SCRIPTURE
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” – Psalm 34:18
DEVOTIONAL
Friend, before anything else this morning, I want you to know something: you didn’t get here by accident.
You survived something that was designed to make you doubt everything about yourself: your intelligence, your worth, your ability to build a life on your own terms. And yet here you are. Showing up. Opening this. Letting God in.
That is not small. That is everything.
You are not starting over from nothing. You are starting from experience, from survival, and from a wisdom most people never have to earn. And God, the One who sees every wound, is not finished with you. Not even close.
This is not your ending. This is where your story turns.
PRAYER
Lord, I don’t know exactly what this season holds, but I trust that You do. Help me to hear Your voice above the others that have tried to define me. Remind me today that I am yours, and that in You, all things are being made new. Amen.
Created Specifically for Women Rebuilding After Unsafe Relationships
Many devotionals are written for general encouragement. The Rise & Rebuild Devotional, however, was created specifically for women who have survived toxic or abusive relationships, and are now stepping into what comes next.
This devotional is:
Grounded in God's Word, not self-help principles
Written with deep awareness of what trauma does to identity and confidence
Gentle and non-pressuring. It will never tell you to "hustle harder" or "just get over it"
Faith-anchored without feeling preachy or formulaic
You won’t find messages telling you to “level up” or “just decide to be confident.” Instead, these reflections meet you where you are, trusting God’s faithfulness to grow you forward, one morning at a time.

A Word From Kim
I know what it feels like to rebuild.
I know the mornings when you wake up and the first thought is: Can I actually do this? And the second thought is: What is “this,” even?
I went through the end of my marriage, the long process of untangling who I was from who I had been told I was, and the slow, uncertain work of figuring out what came next. I had always been someone with drive and vision. Inside that relationship, I had almost completely forgotten that about myself.
What brought me back, and what kept bringing me back, was not a plan. It was God. It was showing up in the morning, even when I didn’t feel like it, and letting Him speak before the noise of the day could get loud. It was Scriptures I had read a hundred times suddenly feeling like they had been written specifically for this moment in my life.
I created this devotional because I don’t want any woman to have to do this rebuilding season without that daily anchor. And I kept the price at $11.97 because I refuse to let cost be the reason a woman who is ready to rebuild has to do it alone.
You’ve already been through enough. This is my way of making sure the next part of your story has God’s voice in it, every single morning.
— Kim

Isaiah 41:10
You didn’t stumble onto this page by accident.
You’ve already done something brave just by being here, by saying yes to the possibility that something new might be waiting on the other side of everything you’ve been through.
Whether you take the next step with this devotional or simply go back to your workbook, I want you to hear this:
What you’ve survived didn’t disqualify you. It prepared you.
And God, the one who holds every morning of your life in His hands, is not finished with you yet.
With love,
Kim
